Afire (2023) follows two friends, Leon and Felix, who retreat to the Baltic Sea to complete their respective creative endeavors. Their plans are disrupted when they discover they must share the house with Nadja, a captivating young woman, and her partner, Devid, a lifeguard from the nearby beach. Leon, determined to finish his novel but increasingly distracted by Nadja, finds the situation frustrating. As tensions rise, a massive wildfire threatens the area, adding an urgent and dangerous layer to their already complicated dynamics.
