Overdose (1983) follows the tumultuous journey of two inseparable friends, Paco and Urko, who descend into a life of delinquency and drug use. The duo, driven by their shared addiction, are compelled into street hustling and a spiraling criminal lifestyle. Paco, the son of a stern Guardia Civil Commandant, and Urko, the offspring of an Aberzale Congressman, embrace a dangerous existence to survive and escape the suburbs of Bilbao. Paco forms alliances with Betty, an Argentinian prostitute who supplies them with heroin, and a gay sculptor who offers assistance. Together, they orchestrate and execute robberies to secure funds in and around Bilbao. The young addicts in Bilbao embark on an armed robbery to secure the money they need to elevate their circumstances. As they target a drug-runner named El Cojo and his wife, the situation rapidly deteriorates.
