Ebola Syndrome (1996) unfolds in Hong Kong during 1986, where a restaurant worker commits a brutal murder of his boss and disfigures his boss's wife. Fleeing to South Africa, he assaults a Zulu woman who is infected with the Ebola virus. Returning to his job at a restaurant, he repeats his violent acts, killing his new boss and his wife after assaulting her. In a horrifying turn, he chops up the bodies and incorporates them into hamburgers, unwittingly spreading the Ebola virus through the restaurant. As law enforcement closes in, he returns to Hong Kong, triggering an Ebola outbreak in the city.
