In Broad Daylight (1981) unfolds in the year 1905, centering around a young and untried individual who is part of a revolutionary execution squad. Driven by idealism and a deep affection for a woman, he carries out his deadly tasks with a sense of purpose. The young student's first assignment involves eliminating a Russian spy, but his actions lead to his arrest by the police. In a surprising turn of events, he is released after a meeting with a corrupt judge, suggesting potential breaches within the organization. The student shares his suspicions with his superiors, but instead of addressing them, he is assigned a new mission: to eliminate a Polish writer suspected of collaborating with the Russians. Traveling to Cracow, where the writer resides, the student begins to question the writer's guilt, as he finds no concrete evidence to support the accusations.
