Under the Mountain (TV Series) (1981) follows the thrilling journey of Rachel and Theo, teenage twins who find themselves in an extraordinary adventure during their summer vacation in Auckland. While visiting their aunt and uncle, the siblings cross paths with the enigmatic Mr. Jones, a man who had previously aided them when they were lost in the woods years ago. As the story unfolds, it is revealed that Mr. Jones is not who he seems; he is an extraterrestrial warrior from a far-off world. Mr. Jones seeks the twins' assistance in combating a formidable alien threat: a family of eight colossal slugs, led by the menacing Mr. Wilberforce. These alien creatures have arrived on Earth with a sinister agenda aimed at global domination.
