Double Suicide at Nishijin (1977) follows the story of Yumi, a strikingly beautiful call girl who narrowly escapes a deadly encounter with a client. An elderly police officer, moved by her plight, agrees to vouch for her, enabling her to secure a position at a Nishijin weaving workshop. Yumi yearns to leave her troubled past behind, but her secrets are revealed by a former client. Despite the unwavering support of the old cop, she feels trapped and resorts to using her allure to manipulate situations. Hiroyuki, a kind-hearted young man working alongside her at the workshop, might be the one to guide Yumi away from her perilous path as a dangerous seductress.
