Butterfly on a Wheel (2007) follows the story of Neil Warner (Gerard Butler) and Abby (Maria Bello), a couple living an idyllic life with their young daughter, Sophie. Their world is shattered when Sophie is abducted, and they are forced to comply with the demands of the kidnapper, Tom Ryan (Pierce Brosnan). Ryan, a ruthless sociopath, takes control of their lives with chilling precision. Within a day, Neil and Abby's once-secure existence is turned upside down. Ryan's demands are not for money but for the systematic destruction of their life, piece by piece, over the next 24 hours.
