Doctor Who: The Time Meddler (TV) (1965) follows the Doctor, Vicki, and their newly acquired companion Steven Taylor as they journey to Saxon Northumbria on the brink of the Viking and Norman invasions. Set in 1066, just before the pivotal Battle of Hastings, the trio finds themselves in a crucial period of British history. However, their arrival coincides with the meddling activities of a mysterious Monk. This enigmatic figure, known as the Meddling Monk, is manipulating events from a nearby monastery. Using advanced weaponry, the Monk aims to alter the course of the Battle of Hastings, intending to change the trajectory of history.
