Meanwhile, Toni receives news from Mama Heidi that she is eager to become a grandmother sooner than anticipated. Unexpectedly, Mia, a young girl with autism, arrives at their doorstep, purportedly Rufus' daughter. Annette, Rufus' former girlfriend, is traveling and needs a temporary home for the 15-year-old. Heidi immediately warms up to Mia, but Toni struggles to adapt to the sudden presence of the young girl.
