Pesti mese (1937) follows the story of Copfos, a milliner employed at Annie’s, a bustling downtown millinery shop. Copfos is often the target of ridicule and scorn from those around her. However, her life takes an unexpected turn when she suddenly inherits a substantial sum of $650,000. This windfall dramatically alters her circumstances and sets the stage for a series of transformative events.
