Peach-O-Reno (1931) follows the story of Joe and Aggie Bruno, who, after a heated argument on their 25th wedding anniversary, decide to part ways and head to Reno for a divorce. Their daughters, Prudence and Pansy, determined to reunite their parents, follow them to Reno. Both Joe and Aggie end up as clients at the same prominent law firm, Wattles and Swift, but find themselves on opposing sides of the same case. The legal drama intensifies as the competing firm, Jackson, Jackson, Jackson and Jackson, initiates a price war and one of its members is appointed as a judge. Adding to the chaos is Ace Crosby, who seeks revenge against Wattles for helping his ex-wife with her divorce. In a twist, Wattles disguises himself as widow Hanover, Joe's co-respondent, to navigate the complex situation. Crosby, who has been winning big at the poker table in the office-turned-casino, becomes a target for Wattles' schemes, especially after Aggie spots them together.
