Torchwood: Miracle Day (TV Miniseries) (2011) is a thrilling 10-episode series that unfolds when death suddenly ceases to occur globally. From CIA Agent Rex Matheson to a condemned inmate, Oswald Danes, fatal injuries and illnesses mysteriously fail to claim lives. Simultaneously, a cryptic email with the single word "Torchwood" is sent to the CIA. With the assistance of his analyst, Esther Drummond, Rex locates Gwen Cooper, who is now in seclusion on the Welsh coast with her family. However, Gwen's past catches up with her, leading to a dramatic reunion with Captain Jack Harkness.
