Jules and Jim (1962) follows the intertwined lives of two close friends, Jules (Oskar Werner) and Jim (Henri Serre), whose bond begins in 1912. As the First World War approaches, Jules ties the knot with Catherine (Jeanne Moreau), a spirited young woman they both know. Post-war, Jules and Catherine's marriage starts to crumble. When Jim visits the couple and their child, he finds himself drawn into a romantic entanglement with Catherine, encouraged by Jules, who believes it might prevent Catherine from leaving him. However, Catherine's unpredictable behavior leads to more complications.
