Trouble Man (1972) follows the gripping tale of a resourceful inner-city operative who finds himself pursued by both law enforcement and criminal elements. The protagonist, known as T (portrayed by Robert Hooks), is a multifaceted individual who excels as a pool shark, private investigator, and a versatile problem solver operating from a billiards parlor in South Central Los Angeles. T's expertise is sought by Chalky (Paul Winfield) and his associate, Pete (Ralph Waite), who manage a mobile dice game in the area. Chalky reveals that their operation has been repeatedly targeted by a group of masked robbers, and they enlist T's help to uncover the identities of these thieves.
