The Voice (1982) follows the journey of a renowned actress, Julia Martynova, who is abruptly admitted to the hospital with a grave illness while in the midst of a film production. Despite her condition, she continues to commute between the hospital and the studio to provide voice-over work for her character. However, her illness induces significant alterations in her personality and vocal qualities, leading her to evolve into someone markedly different from the person she was at the start of the filming process.
