Meier Marilyn (TV)

Hairdresser Marilyn's life is going nowhere fast: her salon has run into financial difficulties, her weight is out of control and her affair with a married man is an ongoing disaster. Her real passion is singing, but no-one other than Halil, the Turkish waiter at the local restaurant, actually appreciates her talent. But life suddenly takes an upward turn when Marilyn is discovered by a prominent music producer. Together with Halil, Marilyn even sets her sights on competing on a well known TV talent show.
