The story takes place in 1857, the year in which the Moyano Act, establishing compulsory primary education is enacted. The film tells the story of a villager (Alvaro de Luna) who, believing that the best school is the street refuses to let your toddler get any education. This mindset will bring problems that the protagonist will face with other characters, as the master of the people (Jacqueline Andere) with which it maintains a constant tug of war.
