Set in rural South Korea and the Philippines, this is a film about intersecting lives, environmental degradation, and spirituality. Ji-young Jang (Kim Sun-Young), a transgender amateur sculptor, is a gipsy-like loner who lives a very isolated life. Dressed as a man, with her breasts strapped down, she visits the Philippines and returns with a new bride, Rain (Phuong Thi Bich Nga), who later discovers she has married a biological woman. Meanwhile, Loi-Tan (Jung Du-won), a recently fired restaurant worker, goes in search of what he believes to be his real family, a quest that leads him to Rain.
