Sarah lives in her own private prison, a prison run by his father, a retired military fascist who nullifies her as a person. The arrival of Joseph, a Jewish university professor who will become their tenant, will help Sara regain some thirst for living, until her father violently ends the new relationship. The arrival of the Jewish tenant represents the arrival of culture and the joy of living to a house where the darkness of fascism still prevails. And despite the story's tragic ending, we'll learn that fascism won't ever be able to defeat the human zest for life.
