Girl in the News

Anne Graham (played by Margaret Lockwood) is a caretaker nurse who is taking care of an elderly woman. The old lady sneaks some pills out of Graham's stash and ends up dead with an overdose. Graham is put on trial for her murder but acquitted. Later unable to find work Graham changes her name and finds the same sort of employment again. Events seem like they are going to repeat themselves...
