Dream of Love (1928) follows the tumultuous life of Prince Mauritz, whose father was overthrown by a duke. Mauritz finds solace in various romantic entanglements, including liaisons with a countess, the duke's wife, and a gypsy girl named Adrienne. Years pass, and Adrienne rises to fame as an actress, starring in a play that mirrors the sorrowful tale of their past relationship. Mauritz, captivated by her once again, finds himself drawn back into her world. However, the jealous duchess and the duke conspire to have Mauritz executed by a firing squad. In a dramatic turn, revolutionaries intervene and rescue Mauritz, ultimately crowning him as the new king. Regrettably, Dream of Love (1928) is now considered a lost film.
