McQueen is an American sailor stationed in Venice who joins forces with scientist Hutton in an elaborate scheme to use a Navy computer to win at the roulette table. In-between fine-tuning the system and collecting their winnings, both men find time for romance. It's slightly disorienting to see McQueen in such a farcical role, but he manages to wring a few laughs; as does the scene-stealing Weston.
