Rubí (TV Series)

Rubí is a beautiful woman, a college student with a complex about her poverty and full of resentment and envy towards her best friend, Maribel, who has a disability in her leg. Maribel has an online romance with architect Hector Ferrer until he finally arrives in Mexico and they meet. With Hector comes the doctor Alejandro Cardenas, who falls in love with Rubi, a feeling that is reciprocated. Arturo, Maribel's father, offers to pay her tuition and the girl believes that her problems are solved and that the future is smiling at her, since she thinks that Alejandro is a millionaire like Hector, but tragedy strikes when Rubi learns from Arturo, Maribel's father, that Alejandro is not rich and that he studied in New York thanks to a scholarship. Rubi has sworn only to marry a millionaire. True to her oath, and despite her love for the doctor, she rejects him. Alejandro walks away and the ambitious young woman is still willing to get a husband with money, even if it means betraying her friend Maribel.
