The Knockout (1914) follows two destitute vagabonds who, driven by hunger, concoct a scheme to stage a phony boxing exhibition for a promoter. Concurrently, Pug, a well-meaning but loud individual, stands up to a group of rowdy troublemakers who are harassing his girlfriend. Captivated by his prowess, the troublemakers decide to impersonate Pug as the renowned champion Cyclone Flynn and enter him into the boxing match. However, the genuine Cyclone Flynn arrives, leading to an intense showdown in the ring. The altercation escalates to include firearms, rooftop pursuits, and the chaotic involvement of the Keystone Kops.
