Oliver Queen was a spoiled, thrill-seeking playboy, until he was left stranded on a deserted island for three years. There, he trained to become a master archer in order to survive. Returning home to Seattle, he used his skills to become the costumed vigilante called Green Arrow to dispense justice. He is also well known for his left-leaning political views.
