Call Me Mister (1951) follows the story of Sergeant Shep Dooley, a former Broadway performer stationed in post-war Tokyo, awaiting his discharge. His life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters Kay, his former love, who has arrived to entertain the troops. Despite his lingering carefree attitude, Shep is determined to win Kay back. However, the path to reconnection is fraught with challenges, as Kay is surrounded by numerous admirers while she diligently works on organizing a soldier show.
