La frontera is a desolate land inhabited by the world's castaways, who live lives of dreams and frustrations. He begins to find himself and to question his own personal frontiers. An outstanding first feature that received wide critical acclaim in Chile, this debut film of Chilean director Ricardo Larrain won the Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival.
