Here is Jimi Hendrix making some of the best and wildest rock-n-roll music: yellow ruffles down his chest, a purple feather boa around his neck, face aglow, playing “Foxey Lady,” “Purple Haze,” and “Like a Rolling Stone” to thousands of adoring fans.
