Vicki Pepperdine plays the "tough but fair" Care of The Elderly Consultant, Dr Pippa Moore and Joanna Scanlan plays Den Flixter, the ward sister. Ricky Grover has a supporting role as Matron Hillary Loftus, the matron of the aged care facility.
