Daniel and Alice take their 2 kids (Emily and Jonas) on a trip to see their Grandma after their Grandfather died under mysterious circumstances. The police ruled his death as suicide, but Grandma believes there are sinister spirits at work. A spooky picture in the house depicts a woman staring into the dining room, and Grandma believes her to be the cause of her husband's death. It is not explained why they simply don't just throw the picture out, instead of leaving it to loom over them at every meal time.
