A Rumor of Angels

James (Trevor Morgan), a 12-year-old boy whose mother died in a car accident two years earlier, is spending the summer in Maine with his uncle and new stepmother; his father (Ray Liotta) is often away "on business." James becomes friends with a hermit-like widow named Maddy (Vanessa Redgrave) who tells him that angels communicate with the living through morse code, and the suspicions of his family are raised.
