World-renowned oncologist Dr. David Edwards has little time for anything other than work-until the day Sonny Collins walks into his office. A brash and crude man in his early forties, he seems to be the ideal patient for Dr. Edwards' experimental new treatment. The doctor's perfect and orderly life is about to be turned upside down as he learns that sometimes healing has nothing to do with medicine.
