Blue Swallow

Having dreamt of being a pilot ever since she was a child, Park Kyung-won (Jang Jin-young) goes to Imperial Japan to fulfill her dream. While she braves hardships in an aviation school as a colonial woman, Kyung-won becomes friends with a famous Japanese female pilot, Masako Kibe (Yuko Fueki), and meets her love, Han Ji-hyeok (Kim Joo-hyuck), a Korean in the Japanese Army. She loves him, but hesitates to accept his marriage proposal because flying comes before love. Their love faces danger when Ji-hyeok is falsely accused as a traitor, and Kyung-won, as his lover, suffers, too.
