A teenage girls life gets turned upside down when a new school friend turns out to be a popstar. When teen pop star JD McQueen, 17, fails math again despite multiple tutors, his exasperated parents send him to a "regular" high school. In order to graduate, the super-star teams up with super-smart Jame Brighton, 16. Jane teaches JD calculus, and he teaches her how to drive a Porsche. When faced with the ultimate math exam, JD conquers his fears and gives his best performance.
