The Gunfighter (1950) follows the tale of a seasoned gunslinger, Jimmy Ringo, who enters an unfamiliar town and is instantly identified. Children crowd the saloon windows to catch a glimpse of the notorious figure, while locals whisper about his past deeds. The town marshal, aiming to maintain order, urges Ringo to leave, but Ringo requests a brief respite to reunite with his sweetheart, whom he hasn't seen in over eight years, and their son, whom he has never met. Meanwhile, three vengeful cowboys are in pursuit, and a young, impulsive local is plotting to test Jimmy's speed. Ringo yearns for solitude and a peaceful life with his family, perhaps on a small ranch, away from his infamous past. However, the question remains: can he outrun his reputation and find the tranquility he seeks?
