Burning in the Wind (2002) follows the journey of Tobias Horvath, a Hungarian immigrant who was compelled to leave his homeland for Switzerland after a tragic incident involving his mother, a prostitute. Believing he had also killed her young lover, who was actually his biological father, Tobias assumes a new identity, Sandor Lester, and secures employment in a watchmaking factory. Despite his new life, Tobias harbors aspirations of becoming a renowned writer, dreaming of a future beyond his current circumstances.
