Biography of Pushkin concentrating on his last year. In dire financial straits Pushkin continues with plans to publish his journal "The Contemporary". But he is led to believe that his wife is having an affair with the Baron D'Anthes but this is part of a plot engineered by Tsar Nicholas I.
