"She´s Funny that Way" follows a hooker turned Broadway actress and the recurring intersection of those two facets of her life. Meanwhile, a Broadway director pays the woman of the night for her sexual services, even though he's married to the star of his play. The director ends up giving the hooking actress money to quit escorting and follow her dreams. Connected to this story is a therapist whose own mother is in rehab for alcoholism.
