Thunderbolt (1929) follows the tale of a notorious criminal, Thunderbolt, who is behind bars and awaiting his execution. The story takes a dramatic turn when Bob Morgan, an innocent man who has been wrongfully accused, is placed in the adjacent cell. Unbeknownst to Morgan, he is in love with the same woman who is Thunderbolt's romantic interest. As the execution date looms, Thunderbolt becomes determined to delay his fate long enough to confront and eliminate Morgan, driven by jealousy and a desire for vengeance.
