Mob Sister

Impressively mounted mob film is sometimes mesmerizing and sometimes felt. It's also bombastic, pretentious, and ultimately ridiculous. Ah Sou is a textbook example of what happens when a filmmaker takes himself a mite too seriously. Interesting and watchable, but not truly successful.
