Come Across (S) (1938) follows the story of a daring bank robber who successfully executes a major heist, securing a substantial amount of loot. However, his triumph is short-lived as he is compelled to share the majority of his ill-gotten gains with his criminal associates to evade the authorities. These so-called "friends" from the underworld, who initially aided him, abandon him when his financial resources dwindle, leaving him in a precarious situation.
