This is not only a colored film of great beauty, but one showing a series of clever trick pictures in which great ingenuity on the part of the operator is exhibited. In the first picture a large dice rolls out on the stage out of which lightly steps a woman. After courtesying most gracefully to the audience she returns to her abode and out pops a clown who, on disappearing, is followed by different grotesque figures who come and go at will out of the same dice. Now four small dice replace the large one, and out of each steps a pretty maiden, forming, as they stand together, a charming quartette. When they run off and hide, each girl behind her own dice, four men pop up, and when another group of maidens appears, and all mingle in a graceful dance. Next a whole load of dice is thrown in a heap and piled up, one upon the other without the aid of human hand. Then the different piles become so many soldiers, who drill and cut many funny capers.
