Matadero (TV Series)

TV Series (2019). 10 Episodes. In a small town of Castile and León, endless cereal fields swayed by the wind expand to where human view can't reach. This small town is the location of the slaughterhouse of Francisco (Antonio Garrido), a businessman dedicated to the prosecution of the meat, who exports cheap pigs of pretty low quality from Portugal with the intention of selling them. One of the employees in the slaughter house is his brother-in-law Alfonso (Pepe Viyuela), a professional veterinarian, who is also a weak and sort of coward man who, deep down, is fed up with looking to another side while certifying dubious-quality animals that anybody else would have thought twice before validating.
