Road to Perdition (2002) is a gripping Depression-era crime drama featuring Tom Hanks as Michael Sullivan, a reserved and dutiful hitman working for the notorious Mafia boss John Rooney, portrayed by Paul Newman. The deep bond between Sullivan and Rooney ignites the envy of Rooney's ambitious and ruthless biological son, Connor, played by Daniel Craig. Connor's machinations set off a chain of tragic events, forcing Sullivan to flee with his 12-year-old son, Michael Jr., played by Tyler Hoechlin. As they go on the run, Sullivan must navigate the dangerous world of crime while protecting his son. Meanwhile, an unethical crime photographer and assassin named Maguire, played by Jude Law, is dispatched to hunt down Sullivan and his son, compelling Sullivan to make critical decisions as young Michael grapples with the violent reality of his father's life.
