The Big Diamond Robbery (1929) follows Tom Markham, the dedicated foreman of an Arizona dude ranch, as he ventures to the bustling "big city" for a crucial meeting with the ranch's owner, George Brooks. After the meeting, Tom is tasked with escorting Brooks' daughter, Ellen, back to the ranch. During their conversation, Brooks reveals the existence of the Regent diamond, a priceless gem set in a ring intended for Ellen. Unbeknownst to them, Ellen's acquaintance, Rodney Stevens, overhears their discussion. Stevens, who leads a notorious bandit gang, orchestrates a daring heist to steal the diamond. However, Tom's quick thinking and bravery allow him to recover the precious stone. Undeterred, Stevens devises a cunning scheme to reclaim the diamond and falsely implicate Tom in the theft.
