The Maze Runner (2014) follows the story of Thomas, who awakens in an elevator with no memory except his name. He finds himself in a peculiar world inhabited by approximately 60 teenage boys who have adapted to life in a fully enclosed setting. They rely on their own farming and supplies to survive. A new boy arrives every month, and the group has been residing in "The Glade" for two years, desperately seeking a way out through the labyrinthine Maze that encircles their living area. Hope is dwindling until a mysterious girl arrives in a coma, accompanied by a cryptic message, setting off a chain of events that alters their reality. The film is packed with thrilling, high-speed action sequences, especially those featuring the terrifying Grievers that torment the boys.
