Splinter (2006) unfolds in the grimy underbelly of Los Angeles, where two criminals, Dreamer (Almeida) and Dusty (Noel G.), join forces to avenge the enigmatic killing of their sibling. Dreamer, still harboring the bullet that took his brother's life within his own skull, is driven by a relentless thirst for vengeance. His path intersects with Detective Gramm (Atis), an assured rookie officer paired with the crooked veteran Cunningham (Sizemore). As the death toll escalates and the specter of a full-blown gang war looms, these four individuals become entangled in a savage showdown, each trying to unravel the identity of the mastermind behind the escalating violence.
