Monsoon Wedding (2001) unfolds in the bustling city of New Delhi, where the Verma family is in the midst of organizing their daughter's arranged nuptials. The patriarch, Lalit Verma (Shah), and his wife navigate the emotional rollercoaster as their daughter Aditi (Das) prepares to embark on a new life with her fiancé, Hemant Rai, an engineer from Houston.
