Adventures of Johnny Tao (2007) follows the journey of Johnny Dow, who ekes out a living at his modest gas station by showcasing the legendary electric guitar of his late father, a rock and roll sensation. The guitar, intricately carved into the shape of a dragon's head and partially crafted from an ancient spear discovered in a meteor crater, holds a mysterious power. When Johnny's friend Eddie uncovers the other half of the spear, he inadvertently unleashes a malevolent demon thirsting for dominance and chaos. Mika, a skilled Chinese warrior, reveals to Johnny that the only way to vanquish the evil spirit is by using the first half of the spear, embedded in his guitar. Together, Johnny and Mika embark on a perilous quest to confront Eddie and his army of sugar-loving kung fu fighters, reunite the spear, restore tranquility to their town, and ultimately, save the world.
