10,000 B.C. (2008) unfolds in an era when humans and animals lived in harmony and colossal mammals like the mammoth traversed the earth. This was a period when fundamental ideas and beliefs took shape, forever altering the course of humanity. In an isolated mountain community, a young hunter named D'Leh (Steven Strait) has fallen deeply in love with the enchanting Evolet (Camilla Belle). However, their world is shattered when a mysterious group of warlords invade their village and abduct Evolet. D'Leh, driven by his love, assembles a small band of hunters to track down the warlords and rescue Evolet, even if it means venturing to the farthest reaches of the known world. As they journey into uncharted territories, they encounter diverse civilizations and realize that humanity's influence extends far beyond their own tribe. Along the way, they are joined by other tribes who have also been victimized by the slave raiders, transforming D'Leh's small group into a formidable army. Guided by fate, these unlikely heroes must confront prehistoric beasts and endure the harshest environments. Their epic journey culminates in the discovery of a lost civilization and the revelation that their ultimate destiny lies in an empire beyond their wildest dreams, where colossal pyramids touch the sky. Here, they will face off against a tyrannical ruler who has enslaved countless people. It is in this climactic battle that D'Leh comes to understand his true calling: to save not only Evolet but all of civilization.
